World Accreditation Day 2026 World Accreditation Day was established by the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) following a joint decision in 2007 to create a dedicated global day recognising the value of accreditation. Celebrated each year on 9 June, WAD has become a global platform for the accreditation community to showcase how accreditation builds confidence in products, services and systems worldwide.

Global ACI (pronounced ‘Global A-C-I’), has introduced a new logo, website and official social media 14 April 2026 – Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated, the single international accreditation organisation that commenced operations on 1 January 2026, is now represented under the acronym Global ACI.
