The transition to the new edition of the ISO/IEC 17043-2023 standard has been approved
The international cooperation for accreditation of laboratories ILAC has established a transition period for the new version of the ISO / IEC 17043:2023 standard — three years from the date of publication (resolution of the General Assembly ILAC Resolution GA 26.09). In this regard, the Accreditation Body of the AAC "Analitica" approved a plan for the transition of accredited PTPs to a new version of the international standard.

Please find attached two draft documents that are currently being circulated to members of the JCGM As you are no doubt aware, ILAC is one of the eight member organisations of the Joint Committee for Guides in Metrology (JCGM) along with BIPM, IEC, IFCC, ISO, IUPAC, IUPAP and OIML. As the JCGM is category A liaison activity Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated will replace ILAC on this Joint Committee in the New Year.
