Evaluation of homogeneity, stability and characterization in the production of reference and control samples. ISO Guide 35: 2017 requirements.

The seminar will address the following issues

  • Introductory part. The role and place of the international standard ISO Guide 35: 2017 in the series of standards "Reference materials" and in the international standards ISO 17034 and ISO / IEC 17043;
  • Assessment of homogeneity. Properties for the study of homogeneity. Research plans. Uncertainty assessment;
  • Stability assessment. Assessment methods. Experiment plan. Uncertainty assessment. Shelf life. Stability monitoring;
  • CRM characterization methods. CRM traceability. Characterization of RM of qualitative properties and RM for screening methods.

This workshop is primarily intended for reference material manufacturers and proficiency testing providers. Also, the seminar can be recommended to laboratories interested in the production of standard samples (samples for control).

Initial level of knowledge: it is necessary to familiarize yourself with the text of the translation of the ISO Guide 35: 2017 standard “Standard samples. Guidelines for the Characterization and Evaluation of Uniformity and Stability ”(to be sent out prior to the start of the workshop to the paid participants).
